At that point the system restarts itself and I get the BAD POOL CALLER blue screen. if you can't see dmp files, make sure your Windows is configured correctly  to generate dumps. You may need to change the boot order in the system BIOS so the CD boots before the hard drive. I then accessed the MS upgrade website and upgraded everything to SP3 including all non-priority upgrades.

Before I try this, I need to know how to force the PC to boot in "safe" mode, and how do I perform this "memtest" function? So I figure: sure, its always best to be safe to keep the AV up to date. So now: I uninstall MSE I restart the PC I download the latest MSE from the microsoft website I install the latest MSE and… BSOD ! Blue Screen On Startup I have had this installed on other PC's and it has never caused a problem. If it is a desktop, try running it without the cover for a while to check if it is.
It's pretty good.
