Computer Won't Turn On In The Morning

Fortunately, power supplies are usually well labeled and you can open one up and with a simple inexpensive multi-meter check all the inputs and outputs pretty quickly. Replace it (applies mostly to brand cases like Dell, etc.), or, if the case was relatively inexpensive, here's your excuse to go case shopping!

PS doesn't seem to be loose in its moorings or anything. I've sat there with a multi-meter, checking the power supply inputs and outputs, motherboard LED, on and on, scratching my head because everything is checking out... solved I have recently installed a new motherboard and now my computer doesn't work solved I recently bought a headset, but my laptop only has 1 combined mic/headphone jack, and the I have it plugged into a good surge protector and there was no lightning of weather effects today while I was gone. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/50523-63-computer-doesnt-work-morning Stay logged in Sign up now!

I can shut it down and turn it on anytime during the day, but it takes a few presses of the button to turn it on in the morning. Interesting thought. Once it was working there was no problem until I had to boot up in the morning again. this contact form I think it have something to do with the discharge of the capacitors but I'm no electronic expert..
