Clean out your heat sync, add new thermal paste, and make sure your cpu fan is mounted properly. Well your CPU's temps are fine up to 70C, anything above that is considered too hot, and yours hit 88C.

I didn't think a bad driver could make the whole system crash though! They serve a purpose you know, they can record information about a failure and sometimes will tell you exactly what caused the crash, i had a BSOD about every day and
