Computer Runs For About 2 Minutes Then Shuts Off.
In the past I would have a problem of my computer becoming unresponsive after maybe 2-3 hours of being on, but it only did it about once a month or so. The computer is a Compaq Presario 2.6Ghz, pretty old, about 5 or so years old. Any ideas? Then I checked. Source

I didn't install the cooling block myself so I'm not sure about the thermal paste. It takes less than a minute and is completely free! Or if you can get to the right screen USE SYSTEM RESTORE !
