If the temperature was causing the reboots then you should consider getting better cooling for the computer such as more powerful CPU fans and more case fans. My PC case is open on one side,and whenever it crashed,the CPU and GPU was very hot.Some people told me to run CPU Thermometer.And,I did.When the computer isn't doing anyithing it I've also tried switching the hard drives but that did nothing. I've ruled out overheating and battery/AC issues. If you can at least boot into safe mode, use system restore.
