Computer Won't Power Up (poss. Power Supply)
Im fixing a old pc but when i recontacted the hd to MM the power is dead but the funny thing when i dont contacted it it turns on Flag Permalink Power supply issue? Sudden shutdown is occurred due to the thermal shutdown of the CPU...........Once CPU cools down the system will starts functioning again..........Check your CPU whether is it working or not?If, still after Check This Out
But we should keep in mind if the motherboard is same generation as the one you had. The power button lit up. I think I may have dropped the laptop from a small distance prior to this happening. Help me!!
Computer Wont Turn On At All
Brian Cooley found it for you at CES 2017 in Las Vegas and the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. I do normally leave it plugged in and charging most of the time, has that caused the problem? What's your computer make and model? Any thoughts?

I don't know how it works with the battery out and the adaptor not plugged in, but it did.

Your issue could indicate a bigger problem if the laptop does the same thing without the battery being being plugged into it. But without connecting adopter, turning on the laptop is not possible. what should i do?
