Are you using any adapters?Your CPU is compatible if you have BIOS version 7641vH6 or newer. I think what I will probably do is buy the power supply and then have someone install it for me. Find out who represents you in Minnesota's legislatures. the monitor flickers at each power click as well. It was terrible seeing the case light up after plugging everything in, but then hearing the same pop the moment I hit the start button :,( I just got another psu I'm not afraid but am confused When you say power supply, do you mean the power strip that I'm using to plug everything into? Don't do it. It's not obvious if your windows problem is related, but it could be if your CPU is overheating (perhaps ubunut isnt taxing it enough). So it may give a false good result. They are not going to get your files off for free, though. Computer Won't Power On But replacing the computer, any computer more than a few years old, is going to be quite a step-up from what you already have. Computer Has Power But Wont Turn On It doesn't have a fan, it has these modern heat sinks which includes justjust a metal palet.

Hard Drives are SATA, CD drive i'm not sure it's a usb cd drive.All Connectors to the drives are connected including the power and data cables. Please try again. SF 15, or the Fair Repair bill, guarantees our right to repair digital equipment like computers, refrigerators, cell phones and tractors. I've been turning it on with only the PSU, RAM, CPU, Mobo and Hard drives recently but before when everything was in it the result was the same.
