Again, powercfg comes to the rescue: Use powercfg -waketimers to see if the system is scheduled to wake up at any particular time by a given task. I upgraded to Win 10 a couple days ago and despite that option still being disabled my PC stopped shutting down properly. I don't know why the screen goes blank so fast. I had it previously in Windows 8.1, where I solved it by disabling hybrid shutdown in power plan options. I have also tested with another Linux distribution, and the machine also suspends and shuts down fine.So at least I know it's not necessarily a hardware fault.
