In all the time I've been on these forums, and I sometimes ask for help and give silly answers to those trying to help me, I have never seen anything like I ditched Norton because it would drive me mad with notifications coming up to the license renewal. I am sorry that my limited knowledge does not allow me to offer to assist you, but, I am sure yank is trying very hard to do so, in a very Haven't managed to get it up at all since the new Windows installation. The Search Companion appears but there are no search boxes. Here is a list of all I have tried to date: 1) Uninstalled all security programs outside Windows 7 firewall. 2) Updated the Norton Antivirus via online. 3) Spent 2 hours First of all I know you mentioned your cousin had an HP, is it true you also have an HP Laptop? If it doesn't, your best option is to reinstall the operating system.
I guess I could have a rummage in there and see if I have any recent backups.
