So I plugged the hard drive into my brother's computer as a slave (since he has an AMD processor) and re-formatted the hard drive. You may also need to reset the bios in the setup screen, exit using setup defaults. If not, you can't say that having a SATA drive counts as an IDE drive, it isn't. Windows Won't Boot With Second Hard Drive Really annoyed by this, I'm used to just swapping slave drives in all sorts of computers but this setup just won't take it. If using FREE imgburn and is setup correctly, automatically calculates burning speed on the fly and usually is 1X. They will not know if you are reactivating a old or new install of windows, and you did pay them for a copy of windows for your new computer.
